Abraham Quote - Seek Joy

If we were talking to you on your first day here we would say, "Welcome to planet Earth. There is nothing that you cannot be or do or have. And your work here—your lifetime career—is to seek joy.

"As you think thoughts that feel good to you, you will be in harmony with who-you-really-are. And in doing so you will utilize your profound freedom. Seek joy first, and all of the growth that you could ever imagine will come joyously and abundantly unto you."

Abraham on Metabolism

Metabolism is vibrational response to your moment in time. Metabolism is the way the Energy is moving through your body. And so, everything is in response to the way you feel -- everything is. Everything is mind over matter. Every disease is mental first. Everything is about thought. Everything is about vibration. Everything is about the way you feel. Practice scenarios that feel good--and never mind reality. Reality is only a brief moment in time that you keep repeating.

The Mirror Technique from The Magic of Believing

The Mirror Technique

I was thumbing through “The Magic of Believing” by Claude M. Bristol recently. This book is a classic being published in 1948. One of the chapters in this book is titled, The Mirror Technique for Releasing the Subconscious. Mirror work is very useful for helping you manifest anything that you want.

“Get the picture of what you want and keep telling yourself that you’re going to get it.” page 97

In order to manifest what you want, you must convince yourself that you really want what you desire and you really deserve to have what you desire. One way to do that is by looking deep into your eyes and declaring it so. I have summarized the steps to using the mirror technique outlined in the book below.

The Mirror Technique - page 107

Stand in front of a mirror that you can see yourself from the waist up.

Come to attention – stand fully erect, bring your heels together, pull in your stomach, keep your chest out and your head up.

Breathe deeply three to four times until you feel a sense of power, strength, and determination.
Look into the very depths of your eyes.

Tell yourself that you are going to get what you want – name it aloud, so you can see your lips moving and you can hear the words uttered.

Make a regular ritual of it, practice doing it at least twice a day, mornings and evenings.

You can augment this by writing with soap on the face of the mirror any slogans or key words you wish, so long as they are the key to what you have previously visualized and want to see in reality. (I would also suggest using post-it notes.)

Here is a suggestion from Tecca in Ohio... instead of soap or post it notes.....using a wipe board marker on the mirror works wonderful and it comes off easy. I do this a lot. Plus you can use colors too.

“Within a few days you will have developed a sense of confidence that you never realized you could build within yourself.” Page 108

Additional Suggestions

Keep a mirror on your desk and declare what you desire once every hour.

Use the mirror in your car to declare what you desire at every stop light.

Each time you use the restroom, shower or brush your teeth declare what you desire in the mirror.

Remember…Where your attention goes, energy flows, so keep your eyes on the prize.

Additional resource...If you are hearing or feeling a lot of resistance when you are looking into your eyes, I wrote an EFT tip for using the mirror to enhance your EFT sessions. Read the article.

Abraham - Law of Attraction Quote

Every cell in your body has a direct relationship with Creative Life Force, and each cell is independently responding. When you feel joy, all the circuits are open and the Life Force or God Force can be fully received. When you feel guilt or blame or fear or anger, the circuits are hindered and the Life Force cannot flow as effectively. Physical experience is about monitoring those circuits and keeping them as open as possible. The cells know what to do. They are summoning the Energy.

I Wish You Enough by Bob Perks

I love this story. You've probably heard it or read it before, but it is worth posting in a prominent place where you can read it on a regular basis.

The Story

Bob wrote this story after watching a father and daughter say goodbye at an airport. Although the story resonates in the hearts of millions who have had to face similar such moments in their lives, the true message in this story comes in the "Seven Wishes." With permission from the author, those words have been read at graduations, weddings, funerals, awards ceremonies and even engraved on a grave stone. His book will be released in November of 2009.

"I Wish You Enough!"© By Bob Perks

I never really thought that I'd spend as much time in airports as I do. I don't know why. I always wanted to be famous and that would mean lots of travel. But I'm not famous, yet I do see more than my share of airports.I love them and I hate them.

I love them because of the people I get to watch. But they are also the same reason why I hate airports. It all comes down to "hello" and "goodbye. "I must have mentioned this a few times while writing my stories for you.

I have great difficulties with saying goodbye. Even as I write this I am experiencing that pounding sensation in my heart. If I am watching such a scene in a movie I am affected so much that I need to sit up and take a few deep breaths. So when faced with a challenge in my life I have been known to go to our local airport and watch people say goodbye. I figure nothing that is happening to me at the time could be as bad as having to say goodbye.

Watching people cling to each other, crying, and holding each other in that last embrace makes me appreciate what I have even more. Seeing them finally pull apart, extending their arms until the tips of their fingers are the last to let go, is an image that stays forefront in my mind throughout the day.

On one of my recent business trips, when I arrived at the counter to check in, the woman said, "How are you today?" I replied, "I am missing my wife already and I haven't even said goodbye."

She then looked at my ticket and began to ask, "How long will you...Oh, my God. You will only be gone three days!" We all laughed. My problem was I still had to say goodbye.

But I learn from goodbye moments, too.

Recently I overheard a father and daughter in their last moments together.

They had announced her departure and standing near the security gate, they hugged and he said, "I love you. I wish you enough."

She in turn said, "Daddy, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Daddy."

They kissed and she left. He walked over toward the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say goodbye to someone knowing it would be forever?"

"Yes, I have," I replied. Saying that brought back memories I had of expressing my love and appreciation for all my Dad had done for me.

Recognizing that his days were limited, I took the time to tell him face to face how much he meant to me.

So I knew what this man experiencing.

"Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever goodbye?" I asked.

"I am old and she lives much too far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is, the next trip back would be for my funeral," he said.

"When you were saying goodbye I heard you say, "I wish you enough." May I ask what that means?"

He began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone." He paused for a moment and looking up as if trying to remember it in detail, he smiled even more. "When we said 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them," he continued and then turning toward me he shared the following as if he were reciting it from memory.

"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye."

He then began to sob and walked away.

My friends, I wish you enough!

Abraham - Law of Attraction Quote

I highly recommend the Abraham - Law of Attraction material. Here is a great quote.

My Most Important Relationship Is With My Source... There is no relationship of greater importance to achieve than the relationship between you, in your physical body, right here and now, and the Soul/Source/God from which you have come. If you tend to that relationship, first and foremost, you will then, and only then, have the stable footing to proceed into other relationships. Your relationship with your own body; your relationship with money; your relationship with your parents, children, grandchildren, the people you work with, your government, your world . . . will all fall swiftly and easily into alignment once you tend to this fundamental, primary relationship first.--- Abraham

It's Supposed to be EASY!

I am subscribed to Mike Dooley's Notes From the Universe and I wanted to share this recent note...

Friends, it's supposed to be easy. Everything is supposed to be easy. Everything is easy.

You live in a dream world. You're surrounded by illusions. And the illusions change when you change your thinking!

Tell yourself it's easy. Tell yourself often. Make it a mantra. Eat, sleep, and breathe it. And your life shall be transformed.

It's supposed to be easy,
